Ike Goes Up the Lift

Ike's first time up the lift, and he loved it! 4 runs later and he was smiling, but wiped out! The BEST part of this day, is that our entire family could all be on the lift/slopes together. It felt so good.

Our New Home

All the hard work has paid off. We are settled. We are home. Life feels so good again.

How do you thank someone who: did your laundry for two weeks straight, did not let you pick up a dirty dish or change a diaper, built you a doggie landing and a veggie planter box, landscaped your front parking strip, did not let you pull out your credit card for two weeks, cleaned your entire house while watching the kids,  watched your kids overnight (neither kid sleeps through the night) so you and your husband could do a overnight ( 2nd without kids in 4 years), organized your garage, fixed your grill, transformed an old nasty wood bench into a nicely painted bench, mowed your lawn, painted a book shelf, filled up your gas tank, took out your trash and recycle consistently, and on and on and on........


My parents are the best. I miss them already. Nothing can thank them for the love they provide our family. I hope they understand how special our relationship is! I love you.

 A few weeks back Solari and I did a girls night to the coast (first night away from Ike)! We had a blast.

 We enjoyed the best hot cocoa ever, after a chilly play on the beach.

 We made stew and cooked stew for hours on the beach.

And we enjoyed another hot cocoa!
